Wednesday, March 11, 2015
12:00pm – 1:00pm
Fairchild 101
Intended Audience(s): Public
Categories: Lectures & Seminars

Dr. Wansuk Senanan is currently a Fulbright Fellow conducting research on a risk assessment tool for non-native fishes in Thailand, hosted by the Department of Biological Sciences and the Environmental Change Initiative, University of Notre Dame. Her research addresses a priority environmental scientific issue because Thailand is both a global hotspot of aquatic biodiversity and of rapidly expanding aquaculture of non-native species.

Her seminar talk will highlight ecological risk assessment research for non-native organisms used for aquaculture in Thailand.  She will also discuss how these data might be relevant to a risk assessment tool.
