What is the relationship between race and capitalism today? Two leading commentators--Profs.  Nancy Fraser (Philosophy, New School of Social Research) and Michael Dawson (Political Science, University of Chicago)--will engage in a wide-ranging conversation on this large and contentious question. The event is sponsored by the Leslie Center for the Humanities and co-sponsored by the African and African American Studies Program, the Masters in Liberal Studies (where Fraser is in residence), and the Political Economy Project. The conversation will be moderated by Prof. Shatema Threadcraft (Government), and is free and open to the public.
