New Global Exploratory/Development Grants Announced

Beginning in spring 2016, the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Initiatives will offer a Global Research Grants Program that expands its existing Faculty International Research Travel Grants to include up to four Global Exploratory/Development Grants each year. The Program supports and enhances international research activities by providing funding for selective research collaborations and exchanges with international partners. The goal is to facilitate Dartmouth's research mission, promote its academic reputation outside the United States, enhance the recruitment of international faculty and students, and build sustainable partnerships with institutions around the world.

The Faculty International Research Travel Grant has supported several faculty members conducting research abroad. Global Dartmouth recently published a story featuring how eight professors used their funding from the International Research Travel Grant.
